With a brand new dream wardrobe fitted out, filling it with a curated closet was the final step in creating Anna Lahey's dream space. Having the wardrobe custom designed to house the couple's amazing pieces, our job was to edit, organise, and merchandise. We swapped out the exisiting wooden hangers, to sleek velvet ones which freed up space instantly. Categories were curated to hold one cupboard for long evening dresses and coats. Another for denim, jackets, and blouses. With the last being casual tops. Leaving grab and go items like activewear and loungewear to be folded away neatly into the drawers. For the mens side we hung casual t-shirts and linen shirts matched with trousers and shorts, all in colour code. We also edited and categorised the bathroom vanity in his and her sections. The outcome = A high-end boutique looking wardROBE.
Anna Lahey's children's wardrobe was a delight to organise. With the rush of a new baby, the reality of having three kids under three was all too real. We organised the nursery and the boys shared room. Matching hangers were a must (children's size) and pink on display was a necessity for the first girl in the family. By organising the drawers by age makes it easier for Anna to get what she needs quickly. Top drawer newborn to three months and ascend from there. For the boys wardrobes and like the adults closet, we utilised hanging space and folded anything that could look messy.
